As per Letter No. VII/T/Misc/September 28/2025/5796 dated 04/10/2025 from the office of the Controller, Food and Drugs Administration, it has been directed to immediately stop the sale and distribution of Coldrif Syrup. Hence general public is hereby informed to immediately stop purchase and consumption of coldrif syrup. Further as per advisory released by Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of India, New Delhi Dated 03/10/2025, no cold and cough medications should be prescribed to children below age of 5 years Hence Doctor’s Pharmacist & general public are advised to follow the advisory strictly and not use cough syrup for children below the age of 5 years.
